IAA is currently seeking a full-time Computer Programmer- Web Design Teacher.
 
This person should perform the following duties:
 
1.Teach Computer Programming (Coding) (High School) 
2.Teach yearbook class, Photoshop - Design , pictures taking, coding and programming etc (High School) 
3. Work with Teachers and students in project designs for learning standards.
 
Work with the IT Department in the following areas:  
1.Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of software applications in support of research activities as necessary.
2. Troubleshoot system bugs and issues.
3. Maintenance of the website 
4. Creation of school electronic resources that increase the brand of the school (website, social media, electronic learning modules, dashboards, etc)

 

 

FOR TEACHERS:

 

• LOWER ELEMENTARY

- Current valid Certification as an Early Childhood Teacher to meet AdvancED/CASI standards

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

- Native English speaker or near native English speaker

- Teaching experience, preferably in a multi-cultural setting

 

• ELEMENTARY

- Current valid Certification as an Elementary Teacher to meet AdvancED/CASI standards

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

- Native English speaker or near native English speaker

- Teaching experience, preferably in a multi-cultural setting

 

• MS and HS

- Current valid Certification as a Teacher

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

- Sufficient coursework in area of assigned teaching to meet AdvancED/CASI standards

- Native English speaker or near native English speaker

- Teaching experience, preferably in a multi-cultural setting

 

• REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHER’S ASSISTANTS – Lower Elementary and Elementary level:

- Minimum of a high school diploma, university degree preferred

- Currently pursuing degree in Education from an accredited college or university

- Native English speaker or near native English speaker to be able to cover classes taught in English when necessary.

- Experience working in educational environment preferably
