ACADEMICS | STUCO
The InterAmerican Academy Student Council (StuCo) was created in order to develop democratic ideals; to teach respect for law and order; maintain high standards for cooperation, loyalty and school spirit; to prepare for adult life and citizenship; and to encourage all worthwhile activities in the school.
The executive council membership includes five elected officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, the Executive Representative and the Class Representatives, who represent students from grades 6 through 12.
StuCo promotes various activities throughout the school year: Middle & High School Unity Day, Elementary Unity Day, Secondary Lock-In, High School Prom Night, Movie Nights, Casino Nights, Pep Rallies, Maintenance Sports Day, and many other school activities.
